This tile displays a yellow background with blue and terracotta decor. The second picture shows it spread randomly whereas the third one shows it in a border pattern. The Spaniards, largely influenced by Arabic pottery, brought Talavera clay to Mexico, resulting in the mixing of the two cultures through aesthetically exquisite pieces of ceramic art. This ceramic tile is an example of the detailed work and passion that Mexican craftsmen put into every item they create. Each piece of Mexican Talavera tile is hand painted, offering customers a one of a kind product. No two tiles are exactly the same, and will vary slightly in color and shape. All of our Mexican tiles background is painted in "Mexican white", which is an off white, creamy color.
