This deco-style Talavera ceramic tile features a blue flower at its center surrounded by four decorations, all in a black color. The background is white and when four or more are put together, it creates a reverse pattern at each intersection. Mexican Talavera ceramic is the result of a mixture of cultures over time. The Spaniards were influenced by Arabic pottery so they brought it to Mexico and the mixture of cultures resulted in these beautiful crafts. This ceramic tile is just an example of the exquisite beauty the Mexican craftsmen put into each item they create. If you want to delight somebody special with an unique handcrafted gift, this is what you are looking for! This tile is special for small patches or entire wall decoration.

Because it is hand painted, imperfections are expected. All of our Mexican tiles background is painted in "Mexican white", which is an off white, creamy color.
