This Mexican Talavera tile has an black 8-petal flower in the center along other decorations mostly in a Mexican white background. The pictures show the patterns when four or more are put together and when a single tile line is put together.
This Talavera ceramic tile is just an example of the exquisite beauty the Mexican craftsmen put on each item they create. It is hand-painted, this means that no two tiles are exactly alike! There might be small differences in size, weight and even the paintings. Because it is handmade, it is not perfectly flat as are machine-made ones, it might even be bent, which will result in not totally flat walls. This tile is special for small patches or entire wall decoration, however, Talavera tile is primarily intended for accents. All of our Mexican tiles background is painted in "Mexican white", which is an off white, creamy color.

All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay.
