This Talavera ceramic tile is very colorful with orange, blue, and brown small flowers and green leaves all of them attached to a common bower and a background mostly almond/white.
Mexican Talavera ceramic is the result of a mixture of cultures over the time. The Spaniards were influenced by Arabic pottery, they brought it to Mexico and the mixture of cultures gave as result these beatiful art in ceramic. This ceramic tile is just an example of the exquisite beauty the Mexican craftsmen put on each item they create. It is handpainted, this means that no two tiles are exactly alike! There might be small differences in size, weight and even the paintings. If you want to delight somebody special with an unique handcrafted gift, this is what you are looking for! This tile is special for small patches or entire wall decoration. This tile is special to make colorful lines along a wall in your kitchen or bathroom. All of our Mexican tiles background is painted in "Mexican white", which is an off white, creamy color.

All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay.
