This triple-bowl hammered kitchen copper sink has three standard 3.75" diameter holes, one per bowl. The upper border is 2" wide on the far left and right sides, 2" in the two middle ones, 2" in the front one and 2" in the back, where the fountain is mounted. The left and right bowls are the same size: 18" long by 14" wide by 10" internal depth and the smaller one is 18" long by 7" wide by 6" internal depth. The copper sheet is 14 gauge (0.064" thickness).
The hammer footprint is very visible, giving it its own character. The reddish/oxidized texture is characteristic of natural copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, that specific characteristic is what makes it so beautiful.
The techniques used by Santa Clara del Cobre craftsmen is the same one used for several centuries, where no power tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. The finish is in a dark brownish color. Along your home decoration, this piece will add a unique touch to your kitchen making it a very special point of attraction.
Keep it as dry as you can to preserve it longer with the current color textures. The patina can be damaged faster if any abrasive substances stay for long periods of time on the sink surface, because of this, washing it after usage is recommended; besides that, no more maintenance is required.
