This hammered bathroom copper tub is a beautiful piece of art. From a copper sheet (gauge 14, 0.066", 1.63mm thickness) the wise artisan hands transform it into this unique piece. This bathroom copper tub has a standard 2" diameter drainage hole in the bottom-center of the tub. The height is 32" in its tallest part, which is in the two extremes of the tub; 24.25" in its lowest part which is at its central part. The handles are made of solid copper and their diameter is 6" for the moving one and 7" for the welded to the tub one. The internal depth is 20". The bottom external dimensions are 53" long by 24" wide, with rounded corners.
The hammer footprint is very visible, giving it its own character. The reddish/oxidated texture is characteristic of natural copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, that specific characteristic is what makes it so beautiful. The border around the tub is 2.75" wide. The riveting at the tub bottom is 6" tall.
This copper tub was mostly raised with the artist hammer.
