This hand-made Talavera ceramic tile has a Mexican white background. As a first step in the manufacturing process the whole tile is painted white. Then the rest of the tile is painted on top of the white. This tile can be used as an accent piece or as a decorative wall by itself, as shown in the second picture.

Since this tile production involves hand processing, no two tiles are exactly alike! There may be small differences in size, weight and colors.
