This is a hammered copper bowl we got from the copper-smiths in Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. The hammer footprint is very visible in this bowl because hammer is mostly the only tool used to get this piece of art.

The finish is in weathered dark brown tones. The reddish is still visible through the dark patina. No holes at the flat bottom, which is 12" in diameter. The edge is flat to give the illusion the bowl is very thick gauge. However, this is just a technique the copper-smiths use to enhance the border.
