This hammered bathroom copper sink is a beautiful piece of art, the rim is flat (1.25" wide), allowing it to be undermounted. The bowl is 16" x 13.5" and it has three highly embossed fish moving around the opening, raised from the same copper sheet. From a copper sheet the wise artisan hands transform it into this unique piece. This bathroom copper sink has a standard 1.5" diameter opening and it does not have an overflow system. The hammer footprint is very visible. The reddish/oxidated texture is characteristic of copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, technique that the coppersmiths use. The finish is natural-copper-looking.

This copper sink was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer, there are no one welded joints.

Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the coppersmiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. We got this bathroom copper sink from the skilled coppersmiths from Morahabad, India.
