This Talavera ceramic tile has a handpainted multicolor very rich combination of colors ina diagonal pattern. Half of it has a dark blue background ant the other half is almond. The pictures show the patterns when four or 16 are put together and when a single tile line is put together for you to appreciate it better, the patterns created are either a zigzag or a squared one!

Mexican Talavera ceramic is the result of a mixture of cultures over the time. The Spaniards were influenced by Arabic pottery, they brought it to Mexico and the mixture of cultures gave as result these beatiful art in ceramic. This ceramic tile is just an example of the exquisite beauty the Mexican craftsmen put on each item they create. It is handpainted, this means that no two tiles are exactly alike!
