This vase was hand-painted. It has a rounded-hexagonal body with a dark green background. The patina gives the vase a unique look that you will enjoy. The drawings are very colorful and they cover the whole vase, so no additional copper polishing or special cleaning process is required. Most of the drawings are "monarca" butterflies with foliage around them. Even when the paint cover is thick, you still can see the hammer footprint through it. We got this vase from the skilled coppers-miths from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. You can put flowers on it. It will really enhance the flowers natural beauty. This vase was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer, there are no one welded joints. Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the copper-smiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. A unique gift for your loved ones or for yourself. Special and unique. The original price on this vase was $250.00. We are discounting the price because it has a little chip in the painting.
