The hammer footprint is very visible. This item was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer. This is an ancient technique the coppersmiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer. Made by the skilled coppersmiths from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. The decoration is handpainted, very colorful featuring fruit with eight small compartments. Suitable for your dinner table or as an accent piece.
