This copper artwork is a unique horseshoe-shaped centerpiece, with semicircular pronges on three different sides all the way around it. It has also three big legs at the end of the horseshoe-shaped pronges. Made from a single heavy gauge copper sheet and raised with the hammer and chisel, there are no one welded joints. Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the coppersmiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. Made by artist and sculptor Abdon Punzo, from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. You will be delighted with the details the sculptor put on it. This is a unique collectors piece! At the bottom of this vase is the artist signature.
The reddish/oxidated texture is characteristic of natural copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, technique that the coppersmiths use. No further copper polishing or maintenance required, you can see the transparent enamel layer on top of it, this will preserve it without major maintenance effort. Just use a wet cotton cloth to clean it. A unique gift for your loved ones or for yourself. It will fit perfectly on a big coffe table or near your fireplace. A unique addition to your copper vases collection. THIS IS A BIG COPPER VASE!
